we are having a extra person stay in our 1 bedroom, it is a female and my son is just friend with her. so my question is do we ship a air mattress down our rent one they claim they have no cots. Its $15.00 A day for the air mattress from Boardwalk.

With DVC reservations, there is no option to get additional sleeping items likes cots or air mattresses.

You will have to provide your own--we just included it in our suitcase last summer. Since we were traveling Jetblue and all of us got 1 bag free, the girls and I just packed our things in two suitcases and put the air mattress in the 3rd. Very easy to do and it worked very well.

We had to take one with us to Beaches, Turks and Caicos, and we just carried it onto the airplane. The air mattress that we have is pretty small when not inflated, and came with it's own backpack. We had one of our sons carry it on as their allowed small carry on.

The $!5 a day would be for a BWI room, not a BWV room. DVC villas do not provide extra beds or bedding. You'll need to bring your own air bed, sheets, blanket, etc.

Suggestion: Purchase an air mattress, sheets, pillows, etc @ Walmart in Orlando & keep it in your owner's locker if you plan to use it regularly :)

A friend of mine put a twin aerobed in a luggage bag, although it was probably before the days of checked luggage fees. Even if you pay to check it, it would be cheaper than $15 a day.

We brought a blow up mattress all the way from Scotland this year. It was no hassle and worked out great for us.
