We have a room at the WL for Dec. At first it was just the two of us. We have paid for the room, but their is a very good chance that our daughter (who we don't get to see much of ) will be able to join us at WDW. Can you tell me what the charge if any, there will be for her to stay in our room? She is considered an adult (20 years old) but she is still by little girl.

There shouldn't be any issue. 25.00 I hear, if she is added. I would wait until you know for sure.

It is an extra $25 per night (at deluxe resorts) for an additional adult (more than 2) in the room.

Yes, our "little" boy, 25 and our "little" girl, 20 will be coming with us and their younger brother on our trip in December.....at the added room rate of $25.00 each. I was joking with the CM on the phone when I changed our ressie to add them on...."since we still have to pay to take them on vacation aren't they really considered our "kids", not really an extra adult????" She just laughed along with me!!! I was so happy for the AP rate atleast!

Thanks for the info. I don't mind paying the extra money since we don't get to see her that much. We were planning our 25th aniversary and second honeymoon. I guess you can never get to far away from your kids. Who knows, maybe a second honeymoon next year when she starts her military career?

There is a trick around this. You can say they are children and just say their ages are any number between 12-17. They are then considered juniors, you can still get charging priveledges and you dont incure the charge. Just be careful with the new database they are keeping records of past guest in your party.

MHO, don't try to trick your way around the system. I think it would be more embarrassing getting "caught", not to mention is is dishonest.

IMHO that is not a trick....that would by lying. That is not an example of a parent that I would want to show my 25 and 20 year old children.

Claudia,

I know what you mean...My Baby (20) asked me to book him a room...his college roomate will also be joining us...thank goodness for Fla. residents rates.

I waited until check in to tell the CM at the Poly that my 20 y/o DD was also staying in the room. The CM said fine and never charged us the extra $25.

Efastpitch,

We'll be at WL during the same time, hope to meet you there! I've been trying to see how many people we'd be able to meet at WL this Dec.

Hope to see you there! My DH and I will be the ones running around the lodge like 5 year olds!

:teeth: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :teeth:

ENJOY!!!

With my DW that will make four of us!

We have 3 to a room and we say so right up front. That way they have a key and all of the charging privileges, etc.

HI JPN4265!!!:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Can't wait to meet you there!!! We'll have our Lime Green Ribbons with us! If you see 2 grown adults running around like 5 yrs old w/ the ribbon, be sure to say HI!!!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

ENJOY!!!

If you add the extra person at check-in sometimes they will waive the charge if the "adult" is a college student or still your dependant. Since you're not sure she is going yet, I would suggest waiting until you get there. :D
