Extra person charge at All Stars?

I recently called and got the AP rate for the week before President's Day! My question concerns the fact that we have three adults and one child in the room and I got a 59.99 rate, versus the 49.00 one. When I called back to check on it, they told me that it was because there were three adults in the room. I don't remember getting that extra charge before.....is this new?

Thanks for any clarification you can give!

Hi Shari,
This is correct. I have encountered the same thing. It is a $10 charge for an additional adult at a value or moderate resort. Never asked about a Deluxe.

PS - Not that it has anything to do with Disney whatsoever, but I am addicted to ABC's lost almost as much as Disney. :cloud9:

When we know our 3rd adult is coming in advance, they do charge us. When it's been last minute, and we tell them at the desk, they don't always charge us. It's been $10 when they do.

Yeah, it will be sardine can-ish, but it is a last minute budget trip......sometimes the best kind! Thanks for the immediate replies and information!!

This is true, too.

You're absolutely right... even though in those rooms, you can have one hand on the alarm clock and one hand on the door handle at the same time :D

I didn't feel a huge space difference between AS and the moderates, or even WL. Guess I was just Disney giddy.
