I have an adr for breakfast at the castle in November for four people (three adults and a three year old - girls only). I just found out my son's girlfriend will be coming with us. She will be the only girl in our group of nine not going to the breakfast. I called to add her but was told they are completely booked and I can't change my adr. Now to my Question. What are our chances that if we just show up with an extra they will let us all in? I asked the cm on the phone and she said no chance. Since one of the group is a small child what do y'all think?

I think you could/should keep trying to change your ADR count, but you shouldn't expect to just show up with an extra person and expect to be seated.
Most tables in most Disney restaurants accommodate an even number of diners - usually four, sometimes two, some larger tables for eight,,,
As with most restaurants, CRT has little 'spare' floor space, especially given that gowned Princesses (because they ARE the real thing, not regular people in princess costumes ;)) need to get from table to table - so your three year old really does count as a full-size person.

Unless you can change your reservation for CRT you cannot go up from an even number of people to an odd number. It is so booked and (almost) no groups ever being no-shows. A small child still takes up a chair. It is a tight squeeze and based on the tables sizes there would not even be room to add a place setting at an end of a table, even if it did not block an aisle.

I'd call them and tell them you have one other person. I'd think they won't have a problem with that BUT it's best to be sure rather than be turned away at the door.

Well if you have a group of nine going, it sounds like someone might have an odd number at their table?? Maybe you can add her to another person's table, just not to yours since you have 4. Is there another table of 5??

I think it's HIGHLY doubtful due to the layout of the room and how they pack people in. A small child still takes up a chair so I'm not sure how that matters much...

I would keep trying back for cancellations. If you can't snag one, then I'd be honest with the added guest about the possibility that she won't have a seat. If I were her, I wouldn't mind being alone for an hour while y'all dined since she was a last minute addition but i know others wouldn't want to do that. You could always go in with the expectation that she likely won't be in but try and see at the podium and see what happens.

CRT is one of the restarants that I would never expect to show up and be able to add a person....If you are going to do this warn the extra person she might not get in.

This happened to us 2 years ago when my sister decided last minute to go with us. I tried to change my ADRs and not able to, She went to all our restaurants including crt bfast. I told her ahead of time no guarantees that would get a seat. We went from 8 to 9 people. The cm on the phone made a big deal about it, that she would not get a seat. Not a single restaurant said anything about it. My dear sweet sister has done it again for our Sept trip, and again I was not able to change our numbers from 6 to 7. I think it is Important for the extra guest to know that they may not get a seat. :confused3

Some tables at CRT are a booth on one side with 2 chairs on the other side. So maybe 3 people could squeeze into the booth side, one of them being the 3 year old. Just a thought. I would explain to the extra person that they may not get a seat. Then when you check in, tell the CM that you would be willing to squeeze into a small table. I say it's worth a try, but don't count on it. Let us know what happens, here's some pixie dust that it will work out! pixiedust:

Is this a girls only TRIP or girls only meal at CRT? If it is girls only just for the meal, I would talk to your son's g/f and explain the situation. If she'd rather hang out with your son (her b/f), then you don't have to figure anything out. Just an idea... you can completely ignore me if you like ;)
