Extra Magic Hours

Hi: Our family is going to Disney in November. The two parks we are seeing are MK and HS. Each park has evening extra magic hours in the two days we are going (15th and 16th). According to the schedule, both parks are open til 8pm- does that mean the EMH are til 11PM? Are the parks that much more crowded during emh days that it would pay to visit the oppositepark? For us it may be good to take a break for a few hours as my daughter has issues -and then come back. Hmmm. I wont for out for the park hopper option, either. Thanks.
