Extra Magic Hours question????

We arrive on Sept. 3rd. I was thinking of heading over to mgk kingdom around 1or2pm. We are not staying in the park (Im kickin myself) I noticed that Magic kingdom has extra magic hours that day so will the park be super crowded? should we go to Epcot instead??? Basically the question is should I not go to any park when there is extra magic hrs.?

EMH are great - Magic Kingdom is always busy around the fireworks time, and people tend to stay and ride a few things right after, but about a half hour after the fireworks are over, the crowd really thins out, and you can pretty much start walking on to rides an hour after the fireworks. If you're up for a late night, it's a great way to get a lot of rides in without waiting and in the coolness of the evening (not too cool, but just nice!). Enjoy!

Hi, it sounds like when you say you are not staying in the "park", you mean you are not staying on site and so don't have extra magic hour privileges, right? So, if this is true, then Yes, I would avoid parks on the days that there are emh's, especially the morning ones. You will probably be ok by going to a park that doesn't have morning emh's by getting there right at opening, and then leaving early if that park has evening emh's before the crowd gets there.

If you don't have EMH privledges, avoid them. So, yes, go to Epcot.
