In trying to plan my one day at Disney......the day we will be there DHS is open 9am-7pm, with EMH from 7pm-10pm. It's a Wednesday in August. When we were there last year on a Wednesday in July we started at MK, no lines, no waits, did everything in about 2 hours (it was our day 10/10 so we were going to hit favs at three parks before dinner & Cirque de Soliel). Then we monorailed to Epcot and did a couple things. Then we boated to DHS and OMG we could barely WALK there! It was about 2pm and we just went to the bus line, crushed that we couldn't get on anything. It was an EMH evening for DHS that day so we were thinking that's why it was busy. Is that typical? Do the parks with EMH evening hours usually get crowded early on, or later in the day?

Just still trying to decide what to do with our one day......MK is open 10-10 that day too.

Thanks!

The parks with EMH are always more crowded than the parks without. The people without park hoppers will spend the whole day there, and the people with park hoppers will arrive later. I always like to go to the parks without EMH, and just be there for the regular rope drop.
