Extra Magic Hours change

Hi all!
Just looking over our itinerary and park hours online and noticed that the MK EMH for 9/28/16 have changed from 9pm-11pm to 11pm to 1am. Do they frequently change them like that? Just curious and hoping it doesn't change back! I'm excited to have more time there since it's our last day and only day we have scheduled for MK.

It happens when they expect crowds to be bigger than planned. Maybe anticipating large crowds the last few weeks of MSEP.

Yep, they change a lot but rarely do they change them back once they've changed them.

Agree about MSEP, but with EMH pushed back, means EMH should make the parks a little emptier since understandably, those with younger children likely won't be able to stay the full duration.

I agree EMH will be emptier, I don't think normal hours will - and I would be all over those hours. Last fall they had those late EMH hours we actually rested a few hours in the evening and headed back around 9 pm to close that park down at 2 am.

That is now our plan after seeing the extended EMH hours. Will either be moving dinner slightly later, simply resting a few hours either at the resort, or just leisurely enjoying a park of choice beforehand, but couldn't be happier to hear as two adults going.

We won't be able to go back to the resort since that's our check out day to rest, but we will definitely have to find somewhere to take some down time that afternoon to make it! So excited! We'll be in the 30s in our countdown tomorrow!!!

The later the EMH the less people. We've had EMH MK 1-3 and it was walk right on during Easter week. This past year though the hours were 11-1 or 12-2 and it was crowded. All other parks cloased 9 and 11 that night.
