Extra Magic Hour Question again...sorry

I posted a message before about what time EMH ends on the specified day. Someone told me to check the Disney site and when I did, it didn't say what time they closed. The hours were for example 9-5 at AK for the whole month of January. So do they stay open 2 more hours? Just trying to plan a little

In Dec., AK stayed open 3 hours more, until 8 pm, on Tuesday night (at least, I'm pretty sure it was Tues. night). One thing to note though: the last Safari ride for the day is 4:30 pm; it's not open late for EMH. AK morning EMH is Sat., one hour before park opening.

The parks are nearly always more empty for morning EMH than evening EHM. If you can get up early, it's totally worth it.

EMH hours are 1 hour in the am and 3 hours in the PM so if the post time of the park closing is 5:00 then the park is open until 8:00 for EMH, if the park hours post the park opening at 9:00am then the park opens at 8:00 for EMH.
The websites do not add EMH to the calender schedule because off site guests view the schedule and they are not entitled to utilize EMH.

Its not complicated.

This is how EMH works for all parks at all times (until further notice from WDW).

Look up the POSTED open and close times for any day, any park.

If it is a MORNING EMH, then WDW resort guests staying on-property will be allowed entry to THAT park on THAT day starting ONE HOUR before the posted opening time.
At least one person in your party should have a room key-card with them to verify your current hotel status and gain entry.

If it is a EVENING EMH, then WDW resort guests staying on-property will be allowed to stay and ride attractions at THAT park on THAT day for THREE HOURS after the posted closing time.
(So, YES, if MK is sched. to close at midnight, the EMH will run til 3AM! Yep, that's 3 in the morning.
No, its not a mistake, that would be 3 full hours after the posted time. 3AM for a posted 12mid close-time. 3AM, yes sir!)
EACH adult needs to show a room key-card and a wristband will be issued to each adult and child that the ride CMs will check to allow entry to each ride.

This 1-hour morning EMH and 3-hour evening EMH rule applies at all 4 parks until further notice from WDW.

The simple answer is NO, they are not.

You'll just have to keep checking the offical WDW website calendar to find the hours when posted.
They should be up now or in the near future.

They may also CHANGE as the time gets closer.
That's just the way it works and has for years and years.
