Extra Hours at the Parks

Hello,

How do the Extra Hours work at the parks for DVC members? We are going on our first trip as a DVC member on Sunday and staying at Saratoga Springs. We purchased Animal Kingdom

Are there special enterances to the parks in the morning and then what happens when the parks close after normal hours? Just curious.

Yes, Extra magic hours apply to all with a Disney room key.

Early EMH, not when I'm on vacation. I refuse to change my internal time zone
Late, about an hour or 2 before closing, they setup arm band distribution lines in the park (several locations) where you have to show the room key to get the band. After hours, they check for the armband at all ride lines.

Assuming you will be purchasing park passes, your room key/pass showing you are a resort quest will be all you need in the AM, in the evening if you are already in the park there will be CM's at cetain areas will again you will show your room key and get a braclet to identify you as a resort guest and eligable for EMH.

When we arrive in the morning, do we just go through the main gates of the parks? Or is there a special enterance to gain access?

Main gates are in use for EMH resort guests.
