Extra FP+ appeared in MDE??

I had booked 3 fastpasses for Sunday 10/25, one of which was for the FOF Parade. Last week I got an email saying that there had been a schedule change and that instead they had switched me to Meet Mickey at Town Square for later that afternoon. I wanted to change that, so I went into MDE today and I'm able to change it but I also have a FP+ for 5 people (the number in my party). It says Arrive between 9am-7pm (its a MNSSHP day) Valid 10/25 , Fastpass for 5 guests, Select one experience. But I can't actually select anything. I can only assume that this is due to the change in FP for the parade - has anyone else had this happen? Is it a 4th FP+ that we can use for anything at any time that day?

You don't need to pre-select anything. On the 25th, go to the ride of your choice, there should be a list of choices showing in your MDE, and enter via the FP line by scanning your MBs.

So does that mean we can use it for any FP+ attraction at MK at anytime that day? Or will they restrict it to certain attractions somehow? In other words, can I use it for SDMT or A&E???

Check your MDE FP section. It may, or may not, state that it excludes A&E and SDMT.

When SDMT was rained out during our FP window, the anytime FP we received did, of course, include SDMT as an option.

It's a FP+ given for guest recovery purposes because there was glitch with the parade FP+s that resulted in Disney cancelling a bunch of them unncessarily. Unless it states otherwise you should be able to use it at any attraction any time on the designated date. Many, many people were given these "golden fastpasses" due to the parade glitch.

OK, thank you. Did that happen just on the 25th? Or was it for a lot of days that this happened??

Ironically, we are doing a VIP Tour that day. Wish I could move it to another day!!

I think there were several days affected in the last couple weeks of October.
