Extra Fastpasses: A Case Study

I think that is probably Disney's goal too for guests who have smartphones. But, they will still need something for the substantial number of guests who won't have smartphones or whose phones run out of charge.

That came out wrong. I meant that I wanted to use my smartphone and not deal with the kiosk. Not make people buy smartphones. Totally sorry for my mistype.
 
We were at Epcot yesterday. We fast passed maelstrom, singled test track then chose two just to let them pass. After the times passed I tried to choose a fourth one and it would not let me. I wonder if the system knew we had not actually used them? I tried all sorts of configurations on mde and a fourth was not happening. Today we're doing 3 morning rides at AK and will attempt this again.

Did you try going to a Kiosk. At this time, the 4th FP+ need to be booked at least initially at the kiosk.

No need to apologize. I understood what you meant and probably wouldn't have reacted to it except that a previous poster in this thread tried to argue that, because the kiosks would soon be obsolete, that somehow proved that Disney is deviating from its original general plan for FP+.

The 4th FP has to be done at a kiosk, not through the app.
 
I know someone who has four fastpasses reserved for one day in mk for all family members on mde. I saw it for myself. They meant to replace one with another. That's not what the website did though. I thought maybe it just needed to refresh...not so. Has anyone else experienced this or heard of it happening? I tried on my account...lol. Didn't work for me.

Lots of times it is a "ghost" ressie. I doubt the original one will work. Just a "blip" in the system.

Happened almost any time we made a change, so it made the itinerary page relatively useless for us.

They're ghost FP+, and from what I know they aren't actually booked. When you click to modify that days FP+, only the 3 real ones show up.
