I'm planning on going to DLP in April. The package I'm looking at has the option of 2 days in the parks and then a day trip to Paris on the final day.

OH would like to do the Paris thing whereas I'm thinking we should go to the parks again for the last day.

What do you recommend?

I would spend a day in Paris, it is probably the most beautiful city in the world and there is so much to do there. Even in a day you could do the Eiffel tower, the Arch, the Champs Elysee, Notre Dame and a quick tour of the louvre.

If you're booking through a travel agent (I wouldn't but it's up to you!) you could always book 3 days in Disney then make your own plans to get to Paris. The train station (at the park gates) takes you directly to Paris within 35mins. It is reasonably cheap if you buy a Mobilis zone 1-5 (€14 day pass for all train, subway & bus). This way you could spend the 3rd day in the park if you think you've not done enough, or you can enjoy Paris.

During the off-peak season you can normally do most attractions in 2 days (1/2 day in the studios and 1+1/2 day in the main park)

Hi

I think it depends whether you've been to Disney before and how much you want to see the sights. We were there for 5 nights with the intention of seeing Paris but to be honest we were having such a good time in the parks we didn't want to in the end!

Me and Hubby have never been fussed by the thought of Paris though and the kids would rather have done the park.

It will be our first visit to Disney. I think OH just likes the idea of going somewhere a bit more adult!!! (ie Paris)

Personally, I would do an extra day at the parks, especially if it's your first trip. Do you have to decide in advance or can you wait until you are there?

We had every intention of a day in Paris on our first trip but it took until our third before we made it there!! :rotfl:
