Extra cost for more frequent maid service?

I think we might rent points and make a visit in December however it's vacation and we won't feel much like cleaning up. How much more is it per day to have the maids come in daily or does it vary by resort?

Rates for daily housekeeping vary by villa size only.

Housekeeping Daily Rates:
Studio/Inn Room - $25.00 per day requested
One-bedroom - $30.00 per day requested
Two-bedroom - $40.00 per day requested
Grand Villa/Beach Cottage - $60.00 per day requested
Trash & Towel - $10.00 per day requested.

Note: Rates are subject to change

I asked about maid service at the Wilderness Lodge Villas for a 1 bedroom and I was told $30.00 per service. That was 2 days ago.

We kind of like not having Mousekeeping come in all the time. I guess if you are a whole family staying in just a studio, it might be kind of nice, but when staying in a 1,2,or 3 bedroom villa, we'd rather make our own beds. If it is just fresh towels you want, you can order an extra pack each day for $6 a day.

You get a fresh set of towels when you check-in (of course) and then again on a trash & towel day or a full cleaning day.

If you want an additional set of fresh towels at a time other than a trash & towel or full cleaning day, you have to pay for them.

I think it's just as easy to toss the towels in the washer if you're in a 1BR or bigger.

We have requested additional towels in the past at the BWV and at OKW and have never been charged for them.

And it might just be a moot point. The DVC resorts book up very quickly in December. Unless you are very flexible with dates or happen to find a member with a current reservation that they won't use, you may not be able to get a reseravtion this close to December. Many dates are sold out.

The last two times we stayed at the BWV we never even got charged. Sometimes it doesn't make it into the billing part of the computer system just the request part.

If U do ask for room cleaning U have to do it 24 hours in advance. U can't get it done on the day U want it if they didn't get it into the system the day before.

Also If U ask on the day U check in,double check the day before to make sure. They messed up a few times on me over the years....

If it isn't on a day you would qualify for a full cleaning, you could schedule that and ALL the sheets would be changed.
