Taking DDs 7 & 5 (and 10 months) to DW in March. Don't have tickets, FP, ADRs yet. Planning on 1 or 2 days at MK. DD1 wants to try to pull the sword from the stone, look for the ring at HM and explore Tom Sawyer Island. In addition to rides and shows, what are some of the little extra things you try to do at MK? Trying to make this a laid back, slower trip.

let them play in the splash areas if it is warm enough - Casey Jr is very fun
My kids had a blast at Frontierland Shooting Arcade
While on Tom Sawyer's Island head over to the fort and play a game of checkers - or play checkers in Frontierland - you'll find a few games setup on the porches
Talk to the cast members who you see from your home state
Get silhouettes done on Main Street
Get a snack you can only find in that one land - Dole Whip (adventureland), Churros (frontierland), Waffles (liberty square), cinnamon cream cheese pretzel (tomorrowland), LeFou's brew (fantasyland) - just one to share with the family
Shop - don't spend just have fun poking around

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is really good and takes a lot of time. A Pirates Adventure is also really good. It is much less walking than Sorcerers. We also like the playground at Dumbo. You take a break while the kids play. Great air conditioning also.
