Extending My Program! Help!

So, I'm currently on the Fall program. I've never extended before (done two other programs... I'm a little crazy). I'm applying to extend as a backup plan in case I don't get the PIs I applied for (still in the "Interview Stage" dangit!).

So I got the email and all and I followed the link and went to type in my name and perner. I know my last name, obviously. And I'm positive I know my Perner... I use it every day to clock in and out. But it won't let me sign in to extend! It tells me that it's "invalid" and to double check my name and perner and reenter it!

Anybody else trying to extend having this problem? I try reeeeally hard not to send them emails because I know they're super busy... but I don't see any way around this one!

The system is down. Nobody can extend right now, except culinary. It will probably be up Monday when they go and check their emails.

There was a glitch in the system with applying for extensions when I was on the CP last year, too. Give it a few days and try again.

Awesome, thanks guys! They sent an email out saying it was "down until further notice" basically. They'll let us know when it's working. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't only me!

My son had trouble as well, but received an email yesterday that it was up and running again. WooHoo!

Yep! I got that email too. Applied for concierge and hospitality. And I asked for a luxury resort. I know it's a long shot and I have like a 0% chance, but I thought I'd at least try while I'm at it and have a squeaky clean record card (someone told me you have better chances of getting what you want if your record card is clean).

Backup plans are to stay in my location, merchandise (done it before and enjoyed it), and costuming. This is my backup plan in case I don't get CPs. Crossing my fingers I get it!

My son is a concierge now and he put in to extend
in the same position. He loves it!

Rumor is that if you request to stay in your current location, they will keep you there because it's easiest for them (they won't have to train you in a new location or fill your spot). I don't know if this is true but if your goals are hospitality/front desk, I would make sure they know that it's your top choice!

Have you finished college yet? I see you have done three college programs. WOW!! Our dd is going in Jan. and she is currently a Jr. but I don't know how she could ever finish college if she did it three times. Good luck with the PI. That is her goal too.

Yep, I finally graduated just this past July. I'm done! I'm actually applying for some PIs (Ideally, Guest Relations or EAS Workforce Management). But we'll see what I end up with. I'm just hoping that Bachelor's is good for SOMEthing!

I did make it clear (I hope!) that staying in my location was my last choice... I put it as number 5. I mean, I love the Safaris, but I'm ready for something different. But yeah, we'll see what I get. And if I do end up where I am, well I'm sure I'll still be happy. The people there are sooo fun! I just don't know how much more driving in circles I can take.

I'm at that awkward point right now where I have no idea what I'll be doing in January and a tiny part of me is worried they won't accept me for anything!

Have you finished college yet? I see you have done three college programs. WOW!! Our dd is going in Jan. and she is currently a Jr. but I don't know how she could ever finish college if she did it three times. Good luck with the PI. That is her goal too.

Oh, I forgot to mention... my college is a little weird when it comes to the program. We have a three track system so I would be in school from Jan-July, and then do the program from Aug-Dec so it didn't mess with my school schedule at all! Thank GOODNESS or I never would have graduated either! Where is she working?
