My annual pass is scheduled to expire today and has not yet been extended. My wife’s has been extended to September 29th. Anyone else seen the same thing?

The extension will not happen until they decide how long it will be.

There is still discussion as to how to treat the time when parks are operating at reduced capacity and AP holders could get shut out

So, until then, nothing will be changed. Many are hoping we will get that info when the new reservations for parks comes out...hopefully by the end of this week!

Did your wife's pass have the same expiry date as yours?

My husbands pass disappeared from the website. He expired April 28th.

Did he or his pass expire?

his pass expired on April 28th. We are waiting for the refund of unused days. Plus a refund of his renewal certificate purchased prior to the closure. When I called they offered to refund for the renewal unused certificate since we won’t be back until 2021.

My wife’s pass did have the same expiration date. That’s what made this so weird.

Yes this will be interesting to see how they handle this with the AP extensions. I have an AP that expires on 7/18 with a renewal certificate for another year and we check in on 7/18. Hoping this will not mean I will not be able to reserve a park as the AP will be expired and they will will not extend the AP until they are out of the reduced capacity phase. Or I could easily see them provide me with the "opportunity" to purchase park tickets for the days I have resort reservations as AP's may not be valid during the reduced capacity phase. Guess we will hear something from Disney soon enough.

Honestly, I will be shocked if AP holders with resort stays are treated differently than those with regular tickets.

I think the AP limitation is to prevent locals from reserving and locking out resort guests.

Just hope info comes out sooner than later!

Our APs (exp 5-2020) just vanished. No extensions - lots of talk.

EDIT - in the middle of a flood that destroyed our basement? I mis-spoke. Corrected: Our APs had an expiration date of 5-2020. They vanished, no option to renew. As of 6-11-2020? Lots of noise, but no official action.noextension.jpg

They have not yet given the extension to anyone yet because they are still deciding how to deal with the new park reservation system and how that impacts AP holders.

It is possibly they will take the same approach as Shanghai and not count that so the extension will be longer.
