Extended park hours?

Do Universal and IOA have extended park hours for on-site hotel guests (like Disney's extra magic hours)?

onsite hotel guests get early entry of one hour prior to the official opening time to a designated park each morning.

There are no extra late, after hours. Just 1 hour (or so) early hour at one and sometimes both parks.

Is there any way to find out prior to arriving at UOR which park(s) are early entry for onsite guests which days of our trip? It doesn't seem to be listed on park hours like EMHs at WDW. I'm not sure how to handle the brain shift needed here

when is your trip?

so far the studios have had the ee all the time.
in high season, ioa has been added to the list.

ee opening times can be increased during the high seasons also

EE is everyday for onsite hotel park guests

you can check the park hours on the uo website, they usually have that up a couple of months in advance.


and you'll see threads on the darkside where others will comment on the parks.

We are expecting to go in early June but not the week that includes Memorial Day.
June hours aren't yet posted.
I couldn't figure out from the calendars posted for now through May which days had EE or for which parks.
I'm assuming that there may be "peak" crowds sometime during Spring Break or Memorial weekend that would include EE for both, but I don't see it and may not until closer to those dates if I understand correctly.

Unless is is considered Peak crowds, the only park open for Early Entry hour is the Studios, and the only rides are Gringotts and Despicable me.The shops and stores of Diagon alley are also open, but the Hogwarts express DOES not run till the official opening time.They don't announce if both parks will be doing early entry till a few days-weeks before

i think the late park hours begins end of june. ??
you can check on the past threads of summer 14 for that info.
if you use the search button, you can get info on past threads.

memorial weekend is nothing compared to July and up to mid August.

the only times i have been in the park and the hours were extended have been at hhn.
this past october it was announced in the park the morning of due to predicted high attendance for that night.
it's not something i would count on that would happen regularly

no.
usually only during a peak season you will see both parks opened early.


try checking the website to see if ioa has ee also.
the studios will be having ee, don't know if iao will as it isn't a high attendance period.

ee is one hour prior to the official opening time for the parks.


i went january 9 to start a trip onsite last year and parks opened at 9 with ee at 8
but that is a year ago so by you checking the website, you will get up to date info.

No..Early entry for both parks is only during peak times, and then only when announced.The last day for both parks due to Christmas was Jan 3rd .Only the studios is open for early entry, and then only Despicable Me,Gringotts and the stores in Diagon alley.Hogwarts express doesn't start running till official park opening
