Extended hours

Could someone describe to me how the extended hours work, mainly the night ones. I see the MK is open until 3am on Dec 30, being a Disney Resort guest is there anything special I need to do to be able to stay in the park? Would I have to be there since opening?

It's for resorts guests only - You have to get a wristband at a designated area. Without it, you will not be able experience any of the attractions during EMH's.

Wow- I would love to be at the MK til 3 am. For our trip in May, we have one night that the MK is open til 1am and I'm excited about that!

You get a wristband by showing your room key at the designated areas in the park.

I'm so excited about the EMHs. We're night owls so MK on Christmas day is right up our alley!

Pretty sure you will get way more accomplished until 1AM in May than 3AM XMAS week. That said I would still prefer XMAS-sounds fun either way.
