Extended Hours til Midnight

The Magic Kingdom is open until midnight Thanksgiving week. That changes my planning. The Christmas Party doesn't start until Sunday the 28th. Do you presume Disney will be open to the general public until midnight?

When the official Disney site lists midnight as their closing time, it is closing time for the public. You will notice that on the MVMCP nights, the park closes at 6. When no party is happening, the park closes at 9. So, on the MVMCP nights, the park is open until midnight only for party goers who have tickets for the party!! Everyone else has to leave at 6.

If it's listed as open until midnight- then it's for all ticket holding guests. Not a special event. They must be expecting some higher crowds.
