Extended Hours the week of August 20th

I just saw that our dates at the end of August are starting to come up on the Disney schedule. I expected to see the hours be less than the previous week, but they actually have Monday the 20th as 8am to 12 am and Tuesday the 21st as 8am to 11pm. I wonder if they are responding to the expectation of higher crowds due to the SoCal passes being unblocked. If so, kudos to them for figuring that out! LOL!

I was excited to see the extended hours too. I'm also glad Space Mountain isn't going down so early this year as last year we missed it.

I would also guess that the longer hours are in response to the end of the SoCal blockout. It'll be the first time some of them can get in since Pixar Pier debuted, so I'm curious to see what kinds of crowds there will be that week. I'm guessing pretty high...especially in the evenings after work/school!

Almost all the school districts in both LA and OC counties are back in session by the 20th of August. So the ones with school age kids won’t be there during the day unless they homeschool. Sp unless the parents are taking them after school lets out...
