For our trip in March I'm trying to decide on park plans.. There are 8 of us, 4 boys 8-14. My Sister in law and her family are big Star wars fans, and her husband feels like the kids are outgrowing MK (I didn't know that was a thing lol) So I am trying to decide if we should do the extended hours at MK or the after hours at HS, assuming that MK is on Wednesday that week. We have 4 day ph tickets so I'd originally planned to take advatage of the extended hrs at Epcot and MK. But the After hours thing looks fun too. Does anyone have any comparison between the extended hours vs After Hours events? We did a moonlight magic at HS once earlier this year, and I was not impressed. I would not pay for that experince. But if After Hours are better with lower crowds it might be worth it.

Also any tips for picking days if you are trying to have later starts vs getting up for RD?

If you're already doing the extended Epcot and MK, I don't see why you would need to pay for after hours, unless you're die hard on HS. I haven't seen how those were going, or if they are worth it. I'd at least watch some Youtube videos on them.

You don't have to be together 24/7. You could take your family to MK, and they go to HS.

On the days that HS has after hours events, they moved the MK EEH to Tuesdays. I thought the EEH at MK was worth it when we went in April. It was way better than the Epcot one.

I booked the HS AH for our February trip and can let you know when I get back how it is. Hopefully good for the price we paid for it lol

That is good to know! I hadn't compared the schedules that far yet. I saw Feb MK EEH were moved to Tuesdays, maybe that will continue

They are big star wars fans. And if the cousins go, my kids will want to go.
