Extended Evening Hours and Disney After Hours on the Same Night

Disney seems to have settled into a pattern of holding both Extended Evening hours at MK and DAH at DHS on Wednesday nights. Those of us who are night owls and are willing to spend more for the lower crowds that come with these late-night events are put to a choice. And that's really frustrating!

I suppose that doing this helps to thin the crowds by spreading out the spendthrift night owls. But a hard cap at DAH would accomplish the same goal. Why doesn't Disney spread these events across the week?

I know we were so disappointed that we couldn't do both especially because we are trying to limit the heat and late nights would do that!

If you're had the extra budget to do both I'd be irritated.. but since I don't and we will be going to MK, I'm happy for the possibility of thinned out at MK.
Two sides of the coin and possibly why Disney is doing it. Folks paying deluxe are probably more likely to shell out additional... we are staying at shades and so just lucky to get it at all.
