Express Waits

The deluxe hotels are basically booked for our trip next weekend. Only a standard RPR room and high end suites are available. Should we expect an increase in express wait times due to the deluxe resorts being full? Has anyone ever seen a correlation to the deluxe resorts sales and express waits?

We are doing HHN Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. We upgraded to RPR resort for the express passes knowing we will be getting a late start at the parks each day due to late nights at HHN. Probably won't get to the parks until late morning each day. Hope the express waits aren't too inflated.

Is there a convention going on this weekend that has the deluxe resorts so full? Or is the final HHN weekend really filling up the resort?

Probably last weekend of HHN. HHN is a different beast than a normal busy time. We were there Columbus Day weekend. The parks weren't that bad during the day. They were less busy than our usual 2nd/3rd week of March trip and probably even summer. I don't know why the deluxe resorts are full; however, it is really close to the time of your trip and stuff fills up the closer you get. I know a lot of the deluxes were pretty full our weekend. We have seen busier EP waits during Spring Break, but the parks are just generally more crowded then. My gut says that it won't be too bad, basing it off of Columbus Day weekend. I could be wrong though.

We were just there and express pass waits were fine. The only long one was Kong which had broken down.
