I'm looking at the week before Memorial Day. If Express passes are priced at $21 does that mean the crowds should be managable? We really want to see HP but I'm not one to pull my kids out of school. We are looking at the HP package which includes breakfast at Broomsticks, staying at a partner hotel(Econo Lodge). For 2 days at Universal/IofA, 4 nights at the hotel(we want to do Sea World as well), the costs comes to $727 at their cheapest hotel. We aren't concerned about hotel amenities as we are happy with the likes of the value resorts at Disney. We are only in the room to sleep so as long as it's clean we are fine. I figure we still get the early hour that way and would be willing to buy the Express passes if needed. I'd planned to do breakfast at 10am to make the most of the early hour. Could we conceivabley see most of the two parks with two days, most likely a Monday and Tuesday? I'm so mad they did away with the military special this year as that is what I had been planning on. At least Sea World will be free admission. The morning for HP I figured we'd drive to the park and then use the free shuttle the other days. I'd like to keep the trip under $1500 if possible so at $727 we'd have quite a bit left for food and souviners. We will be driving there so no car rental expenses either. Thoughts?
