I will be dropping my ds16 and his friend off at IOA for one day. I have been looking at tickets online, and they have the regular ticket, one with an express for one per line, and one with the unlimited express. I have never been to IOA or Universal and just wonder if we will need to buy the boys the added one time express or unlimited...or if they will be fine with the regular ticket.
We will be there the first week of June. They will go one day during the week, pobably the 6th.

Also, do they have single rider lines like they have at WDW?

And another question...OT...will they give you free ice water at the CS places like they do at WDW? Im concerned about the boys drinking enough water, and I know they wont want to keep up with a refillable mug.
I was going to get them the meal plan...thinking this included beverages, but after reading the fine print saw that it doesnt:confused3 I dont think the meal plan will be worth it without drinks.

Thanks for the help:thumbsup2

The first week of June is busy but nothing like Easter or Christmas. I doubt they would need Express Plus passes that but if they feel the lines are too long, they can purchase the EPs when they arrive. Do not purchase ahead of time since the lines may not warrant spending the money.

There are more single rider line attractions at Universal than at Disney so yes...they are at most of the major attractions.

Free ice water is available at most drink carts...just ask.

The meal deal isn't worth it unless they will eat all day so it's usually best to pass on it.

Thanks for the quick response. I dont want to leave them with a bunch of extra money...in case they lose it...which wouldnt surprise me:lmao:
so that is why I was trying to figure out about the tickets ahead of time. Since there are single rider lines, I can tell them to go to those if regular lines are crazy. Good to know:thumbsup2
Also, thanks for the heads up about the ice water. Glad to hear it. I really dont like the taste of FL water, but I want these two to drink lots...especially since they will be there without us. My nephew got dehydrated once at Kings Dominion from not drinking enough...had to get iv fluids in the park:scared1:
I am going to forgo the meal plan. I dont think they will eat too much with it being so hot. Thanks again!

Sure thing...glad I could help. :thumbsup2

I used to go to King's Dominion and Busch Gardens a lot when I lived in Charlottesville and the summers can be brutal. BGW is better equipped for the humidity because of the shade but KD is pretty much out there. I don't even go to the parks down here in the summer anymore. I just can't stand the heat and humidity in my old age. ;)

I agree...I cant even believe that at my age I am hauling 6 kids to WDW in JUNE:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1: I hate the heat!
