I am new to these boards, but am really enjoying reading all you have to say! It's becoming an addiction almost! ;-)

we plan to be in Orlando in early June. I'm thinking we will do the 14 day pass to Sea World and Aquatica and would live to do DC but not sure yet. My question is are Express Pass (I know they have a different name at Sea World) something we should definitely have for at least one day or if we are going to be there off and on, could we do without?

Also, is there a parking pass we could get for multiple days that would be a little cheaper than paying each individual day?

Thanks!!

If you decide to to DC, then you can add a parking pass to your Discovery Cove reservation for $30 that includes 14 days parking at SW and Aquatica. This is not available online, and you will have to call to add it to your ressie. They then email you a parking pass in PDF format that you print and bring with you on your vacation.

Quick Queue (SeaWorld's version of "Express Pass") can be a good idea, but it depends on what your focus is at the park. If you plan on making the big rides (Manta, Kraken, Antarctica, Journey to Atlantis, Turtle Trek, Wild Arctic and the SkyTower) your priority, and are visiting during a busier season, then QQ can be a lifesaver. If you plan on making the shows and exhibits your focus, are visiting during a lower season, or are visiting SW over multiple days on your vacation (eliminating the need to do as much as possible on one single visit), then QQ may not even be needed.

You can get a LOT done if you arrive for park opening, especially during the busier seasons of the year. Lines for the headliner rides (like Manta and Antarctica) should be at their most manageable first thing in the a.m.

That said, we have had Quick Queue each time we have gone to SW (either by purchasing it or by getting it for free for staying at one of SW's official onsite hotels), and will do so again this summer when we visit in August :thumbsup2 . We find the $19 pp price to be very reasonable and easy to fit into our vacation budget. My guys LOVE being able to ride their favourite coasters with no wait throughout the day, and less wait for the rides means more time for shows for Mom :) .
