heading back for a weekend in May. Our son is attending a STEM conference and awards ceremony at the Doubletree Hilton and we were given three park to park passes as part of the award. We have been twice before amd stayed on-site, but this time we are at the Doubletree. It is supposed to be within walking distance.

I have never bought the Express pass before and I know the cost changes according to time of year. I can't find a list online of the costs of the pass on a Sunday mid-May. Anyone here know?

We also get Blue Man Group tickets, which I am really looking forward to.

The cost info is on the UO website

Go to tickets and check the date for ep cost

Not sure how far out it is listed but would think it will be listed as you right trip is soon

Oh course check the prices so you know what to expect for EPs but I would recommend waiting until you're at the park to purchase. If it's not really busy it won't be worth the cost. Also it sounds like you've been before so I'm sure you won't want to go on all the rides. There are many places to purchase EPs once you're in the park. I will also be there 5/4 to 5/14 and it's not a super busy time since it's between spring break and graduation. Of course weekend days will be worse than weekdays but that's always.

Agree to wait to buy passes since you might not need them - unless the weekend in May is Memorial Day weekend. You can also estimate crowds by comparing express pass prices - the more expensive dates are the dates they are anticipating higher crowds, so play around and check out dates you aren't going to compare.

Hi I was wondering does anybody know if the price can change on the Express Pass tickets? I know we are going in July so we will need them. If I buy them ahead of time I have to pick which of my 2 days I am going. If I wait till that morning I have flexibility. The price right now for my week is not bad and I am worried if they can increase closer to or on that day.

Thank you:)

Yes
Ep prices can change

If you bought the ep a day ago and they increased the next day, you are good

They are valid once you buy them, you're locked in!

The price of the ep can go up
Supply and demand

If more are buying them, expect prices to reflect higher rates
So waiting until the day you are in the park could cost more especially if the park has crowds

Ep are not over sold

The ep is date and park related

Some dates in July will bring crowds into the parks

Ep are not refundable
If you buy them prior to your trip and it pours rain on your park day, you won't see long ride lines

Thank you for the information.:) I didn't think of it being a rain day and not needing it. Yet another thing to weigh out. :scared:

If you only plan on two days in the park for July, the ep is a good thing
If you had a week, I would say skip the ep and just use the SRL when open

Think of it as insurance
You might not really need it but is nice to have just in case

Like have homeowners or rented insurance
You have insurance in case one of the "what ifs " happen and your loss can be recovered partially or fully

July is a very busy month
With Vbay opened, we will have to wait and see how the new park effects the crowds at ioa and the studios

July is hot
It is also a family vacation period for many
