Explosions and shootings in Paris

Complete speculation on my part, but the timing with the death of Jihadi John earlier today is interesting.

It is very interesting, but this was a well-coordinated attack (6 locations)with what sounds like military execution and precision. Very difficult to plan something on this scale within a few hours of the Jihadi John attack. This was likely planned out.

My thoughts and prayers with France tonight. This is an attack on us all.

Guys I think this is not the time for politica. Gun controla nd religions aside people are being held hostage and killed by terriosts. I am praying there are no more lives lost.

My thoughts exactly. Um, realistically, that is probably why they chose France. Unarmed citizens make easy targets.

Hopefully the people that can use weapons gets there soon.

Those poor people in the theater aren't hostages, they're targets. It's been blogged/reported that the terrorists are just going from person to person and executing them. They have no intention of trying to get anything for them, they're just killing them.

I didn't take it that way. I believe it was SKYNET news I was listening to that asked a very similar thing. How did this happen with such security, how did they get guns and bombs into places where they should never have been able to. I agree now's not the time to figure out "how", I just don't know that they were trying to "go there".

Explosions now happening at concert hall, and another attack under way. Not clear from SKYNEWS if that is meaning the bombs at concert hall or in a new separate location.

I was just reading the same thing on Twitter feeds. It's beyond horrific. Hostages are sending texts on how the terrorists are executing them one-by-one. It's beyond sickening. My thoughts and prayers are with Paris, and France.
