Explanation of DDP to Disney virgins? My little guide books.

Hi everyone!

I'm once again working on my little guide books for our wedding guests.

I'm struggling on how to explain DDP to people who have NO knowledge of Disney trips....

Ever seen a good website or anything that sums it up?

OOooh, the second link is great, don't think I could fit it on one little page, but I suppose what I could do is type the link into the book....hmmm.

It's just hard to sum it up easily.

This is my dining page so far.

But I'm making it into two pages.

Hopefully I won't get done for plagiarism as I am not selling it, and I do mention all the websites I researched from on the last page of the book.

Well, I know it's 3 really, but you can do deluxe with wine added. And I know that'll convince some of our guests so I was gonna list that too.

Just wondering about the captions underneath the pics- they say "I", not "we", yet the rest of your text says "we". "We" obviously sounds better, as it presents a united opinion. Do you see what I mean? I hope I don't sound critical . Of course, if you each have your own favourites, it might be an idea to put your name underneath each caption.

I'd love to see more pages once you've finished! Any more to share?

I should have explained - on our page 2 we have a photo of us with speeach bubbles. Mine is pink and Jack's is green. Then it says how everything in pink boxes in my tips/highlights and green is Jack's.

[Again, typos have been corrected on the actual files! I can't change them on my saved jpegs though and I'm too lazy to make new jpegs]

[Oh, and we got our stationary so this picture is different shades of pink and green to match the cards, and the dining page is in the old colour schemes before i knew the exact colours of our backing cards.]

I love the way you have done your page Torsie! I love the idea of the little guide book and looking at the page you posted, it's beautifully done!

I wouldn't worry too much about the fact that there is loads of info re. the Dining Plans. While you would want to keep it as concise as possible, we know that Disney Dining .... well, let's just say there's nothing simple about it!

I also really like that you kept your page to the point and offered the option for those interested to contact you for details.

Just a "by the way", you are absolutely fine - it's not plagiarism when you use your own words to relate information you have referenced. As long as you don't quote word for word and pass it off as your own, you are in the clear. It is really great that you have put your personal slant on it. I think you've done a lovely job.
