Mine's easy...

I like to drive, and consider it part
of the adventure - no matter how long
or how far!

This post inspired by zagafi

My tag came from a direct quote of something I said on the cruise boards. I almost wasn't allowed on my first cruise a few years ago because they said my birth certificate wasn't "official", and they called it a hospital certificate! It was quite an experience.

Well, I became a mommy to four back in May and around the same time mentioned that my "secret celebrity crush" was Jimmy Fallon. I love my tag! I will miss him on SNL this season.

Tag??? What Tag???
I'll catch up with the rest of you someday!!!

:wave2: princess:

Mine comes from my obnoxious obsession with chocolates and my inability to control my need to impress it upon others!!

My warning of "DON'T come to Boston ...." is in regards to the DNC and the anticipated traffic/travel nightmare. Many locals (me included) and tourists did indeed flee old Beantown that week.

"And then the Booms started" came from a thread about a crazy rain and thunderstorm we had here. I was sitting at my computer late one night, as now, and I kept seeing flashes of light outside. I live near a major highway and thought it might be that .... and then the BOOMS started! :earseek:

The first refers to my favorite kind of donut - Boston Creme

The second came from a thread I responded to on the Cruise Boards where I think every passenger was upgraded.

First one is self-explanatory - I cannot sleep without socks.
Second one - I put mayo on my grilled cheese sandwiches and I questioned whether there were other people that do it also.

Mine's pretty easy--I don't want to grow up! :p

I was talking about how sexy John Malkovich's voice is on a celebrity crush thread.

Apparently, the Tag Fairy REALLY likes John Malkovich!

I think the TF really DOES like John Malkovich, because my tag came from the same exact thread. :teeth:

Let's see... someone spilled something and wanted to know how to clean it. I said I'd tell them how, if they could tell me how to get salad dressing off my car floor mat. I had left overs on my floor in my car and turned a bit too fast. It spilled. I also said it "smelled" for days, but I put "spelled" by mistake! LOL! :o

I also posted looking for info on where to find the game mahjong. I am thinking no one answered, so I posted it again. It was so long ago now, I don't even remember! :o

Actually, I just recently changed my avitar and title, trying (as always) to clarify what some see as contradictions in my personality or beliefs.

I used to be afraid to call myself a feminist because so many people reacted negatively. But now I do it as a sign of respect to those who came before me and fought to give me rights I now have. And because I believe the fight for issues of equality should continue, not just for women but for many populations.

But, isn't it OK to feel pretty while fighting for equality? Put on a tiara and people will pay attention! ;) (They might call me crazy, but they'll pay attention.)

It's also kind of a tribute to my mother who always taught me to be outspoken and independent, but always to be a kind, polite Southern gal who knows not to wear white after Labor Day and who knows that a little honey can go a long way.

I added "Born to stand out" myself. I was looking at my "What a Girl Wants" DVD not long after I bought it and one of the chapters was "Born to stand out." I just thought it sounded cool and described me perfectly. :)

The 2nd one was from a post where I was describing how I was in High School. LOL.

The "title" is the title I'm most proud of in this world.

The "tag" was something that I said on a thread someone posted about their having a dorm party the week that the Olsen twins turned 18 :teeth: But I'm thinking of changing it to something a little different...maybe a monty python line or something ::yes::

These are cute to read --

I added I'm a Lab Adorer - because I love my furry boy!

My DD has broken the school record for the mile.

Velcro dog is a thread I posted about my labbie has to be near or touching me at all times, so that is what we refer to him at times.

Not too old to play on the Island -- I have no IDEA!!?? I didn't get it when I got it and I still don't?

Bring out yer dead

It's just a flesh wound

You're a looney

Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person

No go away or I shall taunt you a second time

(I could do this all day!!)

The first one is what my Driver's Ed teacher told me in HS!

The second was in response to a thanks to the tag fairy thread, where Debbie Gibson was the topic and I had to share my troubles when I was at a convention where we skipped her concert! The Tag fairy is a rather big fan of Debbie I guess! By my tag, you can tell I do not share the sentiment! We went to the Old Spagetti Factory instead, I was a fan of that!

Mine is a quote from the movie Miracle, which I really liked.

Haven't been tagged, but maybe someday I will say something witty enough to deserve it.:o
