explain your avatar

Mine is a cake we had made at WDW, served at Citrico's, for my DD's 18th birthday celebration. It was all I could come up with on short notice when the boards changed over.

Mine is a Photoshop project. I merged my daughter's face to the body of Alice and changed it to have a cartoon look.

I don't have one and don't know how to get one. Can anyone help me. I feel so stupid/

Go to your username at the top right of the screen. Either hovering over it or clicking on it will give you this menu screen.

Avatar2.png

Choose "Avatar" in the left column, second from the bottom.

Select the "Choose File" button. From there you'll have to select the picture you would like to use. Mine may be a little different from your screen, so I didn't want to snap a picture and make things confusing.

Once you've selected your picture, click on the "Save Changes" button. Done!

Pluto is my favorite character. This is the Pluto on top of a building in Hollywood Studios. Love him!

I don't remember the exact layout of California Adventure....I thought it was an actual virgin photo.

The Fun Wheel is over towards the end of the lagoon, roughly perpendicular to where World of Colour is shown. When you watch it from the official viewing areas you are looking straight across at where TSMM is now (not shown on this older version of the map). :wave2:

Men is from our trip last year to celebrate the end of my DS 3 chemotherapy! Much needed trip.

Yep....old map. It duzzent have Radiator Springs Racers or any of Carsland. I never went before they added those. And they got rid of that orange ride and drop tower to the right. And we walked out halfway thru World of Color. We had a FP for it, but it was still too crowded and the viewing areas aren't good at all unless you wanna get there an hour in advance.

The tower-thing is now Jumpin' Jellyfish (which I adore :lovestruc) and the Orange Zinger (which was swings inside the orange peel - weird) is now just swings, I think it's called "Silly Symphony".

I must have totally overlooked Jumpin' Jellyfish then.....but we did ride the swings. And I bet the CMs at Silly Symphony must tear their hair out every night after having to listen to that same tune over and over and over again all day long.

It's me in Vegas, buzzed on Bloody Marys:drinking:

It's a mickey version of facebook silhouette. I saw someone use it on facebook and I liked it so I started using it. Later I needed an avatar here so I used the same one.

I like yours. :) It would have been fun if the Disboards used this one as their default avatar.

Mine is self-explanatory-I just like the movie :)

I tried to input a picture from our last Disney trip and it wouldn't take. I don't know why. I think it had to do with some resizing I did.
Anyway, while I was fighting to get that picture to work, I noticed this one from the same trip: it's at the Dr. Seuss section in Universal.
Since "Are we there yet?" is a bit of a personal joke with DH and I, I thought this picture of a street sign worked.

My puppy the day he came home, ten weeks old. He's going to be one soon. Can't believe how little he was.

Kevin the "snipe" from Up, a movie I love. (I miss having the "Location" line show up under the avatar because mine was Dug's line, "I am here with the Bird.") I was posting on the Pixar Planet site when Up came out; someone had a link to the official Disney Australian site for the movie which had a "build an avatar" thing, and that's where she came from. I kind of feel now that I couldn't change my avatar if I wanted to because Kevin is now my "face" here.
