Explain Staples "Easy Rebate" is this worth it?

I don't ever shop at Staples. But they have awesome 1 cent deals this week and my son's starting K so I actually need to buy supplies this year. Can someone explain how their easy rebate works? I hate signing up for "reward card" programs, etc. I have enough super market cards, etc to keep up with. Is it worth shopping here to save a buck or two or is it too much of a hassle for a place I never shop at anyway?

Staples is a great place to shop. The rebate is instantly given at the register, so the item you are buying is only 1 cent. You don't need a card there to do this deal. I have the reward card from them because i recycle my ink cartidges for my photo printer. I receive $3 for each one, so i save up a few and they send me a reward check for the total good for anything in the store. The ladt check i got was for $18 and helped pay for some fathers day stuff.

We just went today for the 1 cent sales. Got the pencils for a penny a package. They are considered "instant" discounts. The copy paper, however, is considered an "easy rebate" which is what you're talking about. We had to pay $3.69 per package then as soon as I got home (since I have a tendency to forget these things), I went to the computer and entered two numbers from the receipt and my mailling address. I should get the $7 and something check in a few weeks. No big deal, easier than sending in forms and buying stamps. But don't expect the money right away.

Just did my rebates too! Once you have a profile set up just enter your email and a password, enter 2 numbers from your receipt and you're done! Pretty easy! Rebates usually take about 1 month or so. Don't forget about the $5/$20 coupon in the sales ad!!

It's super easy.....I entered my Easy Rebates for the copy paper and photo paper around noon today and they've already been confirmed and are being processed.

With the $5 / $20 that the previous poster mentioned, you can get your pencils, copy paper, and photo paper and make a little over $2.00 when your rebates are returned to you.

Our staples had a limit of 2 pencil packs per person. Dis my kids read that wrong or is that what it is? I was dissapointed.

That's correct, but there's no stopping you and each child from buying two packs each on separate purchases.

Staples is one of the most reliable and easy to deal with rebates.

Got my pencils and paper today, too! And a cute little task chair with pink flowers for one of my daughter's desks.

That coupon was good even if you were going to be getting easy rebate(s) as long as it was a minimum $20.
