We will be staying offsite March 1-8. E-nights at MK are 4, 7th. Does this mean they will close the park early for those who aren't doing e-night?

Since we are staying offsite I'd like to do avoid the busiest days but that is getting harder. Seems like with EE and E-night and the weekend there aren't a lot of days left to pick from. Any advice from the experts?

Thanks. The other park we want to go to is AK. What day would be best?

If you are staying onsite and have a multi day pass you may participate in E ticket nights--- it is a separate ticketed event.

The Magic Kingdom doesn't close any earlier than normal to accommodate those activities. The E ticket nights start at the closing of the park (whatever time the park closes), and lasts for 3 hours. If you are not participating, though you will have to leave the park at normal closing hours.

As for the days to avoid in the MK because of EE mornings, they would be Sunday and Thursday... and of course Saturday is always very crowded. Tuesdays are usually a very good time to go! Since the schedule for E ticket nights isn't released until about 2 weeks prior, it is more difficult to plan around them, but they don't usually adversely affect crowds in the parks anyway.

As for Animal Kingdom... the EE mornings there are Mondays and Fridays, and there are no E ticket nights there. We have always gone on Saturdays and Sundays and had no difficulty... just get there about 45 minutes prior to the opening of the gate!
