expiring points question

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, but there's a chance I am wrong ... so I'll put it to the experts!

We have points which are expiring at the end of our use year in Feb (use year - March). Do we have to use these points to stay somewhere by the end of Feb, or can they be used to reserve a concierge collection room sometime in the future?

I think they must be all used by March, but I am hoping that I am wrong!

You can bank up to 25% of your total annual points by end of Dec. So as long as you have not already banked to that level, and total is below that level, you can still bank. Otherwise they must be used by end of Feb. Also, for Concierge, you would have to call by Dec 30 to make a ressie during Jan or Feb

I just wanted to call your attention this important point. For any non-DVC trip that you might want to take in January or February, you MUST make your reservation by the end of December. You can take a trip during the last 60 days of your Use Year but the reservation must be made prior to that. (This allows DVC time to rent out your accomodations to get cash to pay for your non-DVC trip).
