Expiring Points Question

Just discovered that I have 15 points that will be expiring at the end of January. What should I do with them?

If it's enough for a studio for one night, maybe see if someone can use them by posting a "fire sale" on the rent trade board. You would have to add to them, I think, to put them into RCI. I've done some creative booking and banking in the past to avoid those issues. For example: Once I had to book an extra night using home resort points plus a few left over previously banked ones from my other home resort. MS can usually do that, but you have to have an experienced MS member, and you have to do it at the 7 month window or less.

I just want to add that to avoid those kind of issues, you need to check your online account at DVC frequently. That way you wouldn't have found this out too late to really do much about it.

Call up MS and ask them if you can have a one time exception on your missed banking date. You may get lucky.
