Expired Southwest travel funds

I have some Southwest ticketless travel funds that recently expired. They are for two people. One is for $115 ($57.50 each) and the other is for $40($20 each). I called Southwest and there is a $50 fee for each person ticketed meaning they are offering two funds of $7.50 and zero for the other. Getting $15 for $155 in credit, while better than nothing, is not very good. Does anyone know of anything to do or say to the customer service rep or a different number to call in order to get more of the funds restored? I have called 214-932-0333. Thank you to anyone who can help. :)

Nope. That's the policy and it's pretty much what "expiring" means. Unless there were some unusual circumstances for which SWA was at least partially responsible I can't see you getting anything more. FWIW, neither one of those credits would even be there to expire with just about any other airline as taking advantage of a price reduction on most of them results in a $150 per ticket change fee.

Southwest already has a pretty generous policy in providing credits when flight prices go down for you to use on a future flight...WITHOUT paying a change fee. I don't think its realistic to expect them to bend even further.

NO SHOT. Other airlines charge a change fee of $75 (or more). Most reduce any credit offered as a result of a fare reduction by the change fee.

Southwest only charges $50 to those passengers who want more time to use the credit.

With most airlines you wouldn't have gotten the credit to begin with.
