Expired Photopass Photos

I am sick...

I misread the reminder email that they were due to start expiring 5/5 (when really it read 5/2) so we hopped online tonight to purchase and they appear to be gone. I have sent an email to cust svc to please give me some hope that we will be able to preserve our family memories. There were some sweet shots of our first trip there with our 25 month old son and 5 month old daughter.

Has anyone been through this? Please tell me what I can do...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but this just happened to me. I missed the 30 day cutoff. The response I got was that the pics are only held 30 days. No exceptions. So I missed out on all of our pics too. I cried and cried.

I am so sorry you missed your deadline too.

How soon after the 30 day window did you contact them? I wonder if they may give people a couple extra days? I hate this! I could cry too.

I even bought that photopass in advance so in addition tho the heartache of the seemingly lost pictures I am out $100.

I'm so sorry you lost your photos. I'm pretty sure the photos are automatically deleted at 30 days so you won't have much luck getting them. But you can get a refund on the Photopass CD. At least you won't be out the $100.

Many people have gotten their pictures renewed for a short amount of time.. Obviously some others haven't gotten the same response. Definitely try a few times to get them to put them back on, which I know they can do unless they've drastically changed their system since December.

I think it is worth a try.
Our trip was in Oct 06 and in Jan 07 my daughter passed away. I asked Cus serv was there any hope. They located the pictures from the photo pass number and also emailed the ones of my daughter at Epcot with such a care free pain free smile.

To follow up, they also sent the CD, it only had about a dozen pic;s on it,, but they were the last ones I had of her. She was 29 and had a medication interaction. Devestating. But I told disney I could not thank them enough and the wrote that is what they are about making memories for families.
