EXPIRED: Part ONE of 2015 CLUB LEVEL (CL) INFORMATION and HELP Thread DO NOT POST HERE!!!

Vanillagirl, we've stayed CL at all the resorts except YC, so we also have a basis for comparison. Since you have something in the style of GF for the first part of your trip, you might want to mix it up and go with WL for the second part. I'd say it depends whether location/transportation is a big issue for you. When location/transportation was one of our primary considerations, we would have gone with GF/BWI. As you know, easy access to MK while at GF and then easy access to Epcot and DHS while at BWI. But we enjoyed WL CL so much that we're willing to give up the convenient transportation. And we had fun using different combinations of boats, monorails and even the bus during our stay.

But I'm biased, because WL currently ranks as my favorite CL (I even prefer it over RPC!)

I just booked 1 night in May at the Contemporary CL, how do I know if I will be on the 12th floor or the 14th floor? I am not in a suite and by the time I was able to book there was no theme park views available. The reservation say Standard room - Atrium Club Level.

Also, how crowded does the lounge get to watch wishes?

Hello club level fans. I have grand flo royal palm booked for the first part of my vacation and am considering booking the 2nd half of my vacation either boardwalk inn club or wilderness lodge club level. Fyi I have stayed cl often at all wdw resorts except wl and akl. Rpc and bwi are favorites. We also have done split stays quite a few times and usually do a mk/ep resort split.

I know I enjoy gf rpc and bwi innkeepers but the wl is beautiful and im interested. I scrolled through the thread pics and they all make me smile. So since pics dont help with the decision I guess im looking for opinions on wilderness lodge club level. the food in wl club looks wonderful ;)

Thanks!
DD20 and I loved it in January. It is set up like RPC where the seating is scattered along the hall with views either outside or down to lobby. Much nicer than being crammed into a small room:goodvibes

The food is plentiful but "homey".

The only thing I didn't like was you could NOT see at all from the chair on the balcony over the rail. I had to sit in the room and then you could see some in the distance. I posted links of pictures from circusgirl and I a few pages back.

I'm glad they didn't charge by the amount of cobbler one consumes, I would have been in trouble:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

That "should" be the bay lake side 12th floor. You could get TPV or 14th floor if they overbook std room. What is nice is you get lake view from room and TPV from the lounge:thumbsup2

The lounge has never been too crowded. Mainly because so many have a view from their room.

You will love it, it is my dd fav cl:goodvibes

Also, keep checking! If you want TPV sometimes it opens up.

Interesting that you are the second person that I've noticed names BWI as second favorite after RPC. Maybe I should try BWI. We like BC, but I saw a nighttime pic of the pool slide at BWI that showed the clown with glowing eyes, and it looks kinda freaky - lol!

thanks for the feedback on WL CL :) i followed the links to lovely pix circusgirl took.

how about the room size? noticeably smaller than other deluxes?

what could a CL room view be?

thank you!

i enjoy the bwi lounge space over the yc and bc. i do prefer rpc for its more open feel but bwi lounge is roomy and bright and we never have had issues finding seating at these two. we have been at y/bc where people (incl us) stood in the hallway or took food to go because there were no seats in the yc/bc lounge.

the rpc and bwi cms are terrific. and i have had better housekeeping at gf and bwi than other disney resorts. i wish bwi had sab ;)

We found a noticeable difference in room size between the WL and GF (GF room was much larger and more spacious), but not a huge difference between the WL and BC (thought BC room was only slightly larger). I think CL rooms have either a woods or courtyard view, but I'm not positive. Hopefully someone else will be able to give some input on that ;).

Here is the courtyard view from our CL room in July. Note they are pre pool construction.

I can't help with woods view :)

Thanks for all your helpful info regarding CL at Poly. Since it will be our first time at the resort, we may opt to just do non CL. (I know I'd like to try some tonga toast, kona coffee, have a Lapu Lapu.... The sushi bar.... Uh-oh, I think I'm hungry already!) aloha!

That would be the best of both worlds! What a great idea! Although we like Luna Park just fine. It is nice

Hi! We have stayed at Wilderness CL multiple times & all rooms are on the 7th floor, & either have a woods view or court yard view. The rooms are the same as their standard size rooms, sleep only 4 with either two queen beds or queen & bunk bed. We always request a room closest to club lounge. The balconies are dormer style, two people can comfortably sit out there but to see anything you have to stand and look over so at this resort the cl view doesn't matter to us. The only acception are the Jr suites at the ends that sleep 6 and have bay lake views, they have club level access but are not located on the 7th floor. The old faithful club is one of our favorite club lounges. I love sitting and looking out over the lobby (especially at holidays) or out over the court yard and bay lake. The CM's are great & always are friendly and eager to help or fix a problem. It is a very comfortable and laid back lounge. I hope this helps.

i wish bwi had sab ;)

This is why we LOVED our BWI stay when Luna Park was under construction and they provided golf cart transportation over to SAB so that BWI guests could swim there. When the BWI CL CM apologized for the pool closure and explained the SAB option, I told him there was no need for apology! We also discovered the BWI quiet pool during that stay, which is my favorite quiet pool on property. (Although the VWL pool may rival it!)

You'll love it even if you choose the main dining room. We explained our tastes in wine and let them choose one for us. I think we had 2 bottles (maybe even 3!) and added on the Kobe Beef making 11 courses total. I chose to have just a bite of each bread and butter so I managed to eat most of every course except the end of meal chocolates. Neither DH or I are caviar people so that was an easy no :)

I wouldn't plan on much after either. We arrived at 5:30, left at 9:30 and watched Wishes from our GF room balcony. If there was ever a magical night, that was it!

It sounds delicious! I actually do have some more questions so will PM you! I'm out of town until next week but will message you when I get back...This will be a big trip for us and can't wait until our 180 days to make the ADR!!

Staying next Saturday at CR CL Atrium! This will be our first club level stay at CR!! I've done WL, GF (main building), Poly, and YC. I'm excited to see how this compares to the rest!!
When I think of cr CL I think of the olives they have out with cheese at 5! Yum!

The seating areas are all different sizes and configurations. I like to try them all:)

You will love the Poly, even without CL. Our stay was non-CL and we loved everything about the resort. After just one stay, the Poly became our favorite overall, it's an awesome resort!! Have a great trip :wizard:.
