Expired Fast Passes.

Not once and I have done it many times. In fact, 3 weeks ago a cm at Toy Story told the person at the fast pass machine next to me that fastpasses could be used any time after the start time until the park closed.

I go to WDW 4-6 times a year and always use fastpasses after their return times. I go around gathering them in the mornings (getting a new one as soon as the fastpass window from the previous one allows) and then use them just before leaving the park. I've never had a problem. I did it every day when I was there Nov 26th-Dec 4th (so just a few weeks ago).

Disney has the right to turn away late FP, but will typically only do so on busy days at busy attrations, Soarin' has been known to follow the one hour window more than any other attraction.

With that said, I've never been turned away, anywhere.

In regards to upcoming "enforcement," I'm pretty sure the windows will start evolving when the Next Gen project goes live (as that is changing the overall FP system). So very soon really means sometime in the next couple of years.

Thanks! Had read in a guide book that soaring was the only one that seems to sometimes give people an issue so will just not stack this one and hold the others!

We are going to 1st week of January instead of latter in the month and getting lots of conflicting reports on the crowds so need to be ready!

No issues and have never been turned away. Although on our most recent trip (Oct '11), a Jungle Cruise CM held us up asking why we were using 5-hour old FPs. It had been pouring rain earlier in the day and we retreated to the resort for a dry rest. He was nice enough but said "OK, I'll let you through." It was the first time I'd ever been questioned about late FPs.

No credible reports about Epcot's Soarin' since 2007, so even that's no longer a concern.

We have never had a problem with using our FP's after the time. I'll even go as far to say, during a trip on Oct '09, TT broke down, and they gave us FP's to use once the ride was back up. It never came back up that day while we were at Epcot, so I brought the FP's home with us, since it was our last day, and when we returned in Apr '10, I went to the FP line, and told the cast member what had happened. He took the, now, 6 month old FP, and changed them for the 2 rider swap passes. I never expected that to happen. Sometimes it just depends who is there, and how understanding they are of the reasons you are there, to enjoy yourself, and being with your family. In the grand scheme of things, it's not the end of the world. :santa:

CMs have been told to start enforcing the FastPass Return Window policy, from what I was told by a CM at Soarin'. They should be switching over to that fairly soon. I am not sure if this is just Soarin', but it seems like it will be a new thing at all 4 parks.

We've seen this same rumor countless times for years now. Who knows, maybe yours will be the one that's right--but I doubt it. The boy has cried wolf too many times for me to take this seriously.

I'll give you this. I think it's possible only the CMs at Soarin' have been told to expect possible enforcement for the next two weeks or so while the crazy crowds descend upon it. That I could see. But to expand that World-wide for a permanent policy change--uh-uh.

Add us to the never been turned away group, and we have done it dozens if not over a hundred times. Most recently were there Thanksgiving weekend and it was busy, still not turned away or even had a CM look at the FP's twice.

BUT.......... (and I can't believe I'm going to add to the rumors)
someone was reporting on Lines (touringplans app) that they saw people turned away last night........ 2 guesses as to what attraction

guess that rogue CM is back on thier post policing FP returns. ;)

There have been those who posted they were turned away at Snorin' or TSM, or some high-demand, low-capacity ride, and I take them at their word (why would they lie?), but until someone videos a CM telling them in no uncertain terms that they are being denied FP entry because their "window" is closed, and then posts it to YouTube, I just won't believe it happens with any regularity.

(and no fair bribing a CM to do it to you, either...)

Just got back. Used LOTS of FP's........... not a single one during the window. And nobody batted an eye. I certainly hope this doesn't change. It gives SO much more flexibility to our touring style.

Only turned away once at TSMM and I kept the FP and went back later when a different CM was working and had no problem then. It was in May 2010.

Never been turned away anywhere and ALWAYS use them well past the stated time. The only one I don't use late is Soarin' because I have read they sometimes turn people away late. I love Soarin' so I am too paraniod to test it! (We were there over Thanksgiving, so it wasn't that long ago....) I would hate it if they start enforcing it!

I remember when someone said over the summer they were going to start doing this in September...

And Oct.............and Nov................and Dec......

Seems a new 'official date' that FP will be enforced is given every few weeks.

I live local and go 3-4 times a month and ALWAYS use my FP after the designated time (kinda hard not to with a 2 year old) and have never been turned away. No weird looks, no lectures, nothing. I'll be so upset if they ever do start enforcing it, it just makes my life easier with a toddler!!

The Fast Pass issue is like The Code of the Order of the Brethren....."the code is more what you'd call guidelines than actual rules. Welcome aboard the Black Pearl, Miss Turner. "

 That was funny. :)

I am glad this was asked. We may honeymoon at WDW in October (not sure, still trying to decide!!) and when we go to DL, we have never had any problems using them outside of the window. It is nice because we would hate to be riding Screamin' when we realize we have ten minutes to get to Splash to use our passes.

We are "skilled" FP collectors so we can often have up to 6 rides at a time, so it's hard to remember the times. I was wondering if WDW was as lenient on this as well. We may not try it too much and definitely won't on Soarin'. Either way, worrying about when to use FP's is something I'd much rather be doing than worrying about school. :cutie:

I'm sure we are the anomaly - it was during Food and Wine (busy) 2008 or 2010 - it was on Soarin (the only ride its been a problem!)

SAME DAY, THREE HOURS LATE!

We went through the first check - but that 2nd area where they take the FP told us no - and he actually followed us (I thought he was kidding smiled and kept walking, dh and dd knew he meant it!)

I was so shocked I did ask to see a manager - and I was told they often cannot accept late FP - since we had a medical reason why we were late - nope, didnt matter..

I have posted this several times on this board, and no one but us has this happened to - its like I'm making it up, but because of it, dh refuses to let me do the late FP thing! Drives me crazy

Soarin and TSM are pretty much the only 2 rides people get turned away from. Because they are the most popular, they sometimes won't let you use a late fastpass.

We have never had any problems using them late, except once. It was Buzz Lightyear and it was a really young kid. Instead of arguing with him, we left and came back 30 minutes later and he had been moved to a different post. Got in with no problem.
