Expired Airmiles Canadian Tickets

Prior to the pandemic, I purchased a 7 day AM Canadian ticket that has since expired. Do the certificates still carry values? I thought I read somewhere that although you cannot use expired tickets, they still hold the value and can be applied to purchasing new tickets. Am I correct in this thinking?

I just did a live chat with a WDW rep yesterday. They confirmed they could see my expired tickets in My Disney Experience account (thank goodness!), but they obviously couldn't tell me the value of them. I would have to call Ticketing. It will be interesting how they figure that out since ours are Cdn Rate as well.

Just maa as he sure you all are sitting when you hear the price difference . I think for the 5 of ours I paid around $900 usd. It hurt .

What is the C$ value of 5-day base Cdn Rate Air Miles tickets? I was contemplating buying a big WDW gift card to pay for the difference so at least to save a bit on the credit card fees. There are only two of us I need to pay for, so that is somewhat an easier pill to swallow.

I realize the upgraded costs will vary for hoppers, add-ons, time of year going, etc

I wonder if this can be done pre-arrival? Not sure how we can book park reservations if we don't have valid tickets.

Yes they are doing the upgrade (to new tickets) over the phone now. In years gone by you would have had to go to ticketing and do it in person.

I did this yesterday, check my post where I asked for a number for ticketing - call that number, they will fix you up! But yes, be ready to pay the difference. Mine wasn’t too bad, - I went from 3 adult one Child 7 day park hopper + Cdn resident tickets to 4 adult 6 days park hopper + and it was just over 300USD. I added genie plus, so that was more on top of that.
