I am pitching a DVC purchase to my DH tomorrow. I have all the info I need, much of which was attained right here from you awesome DVC owners. (Of course I have also spent a lot of time on DVCnews.com and disneyvacationclub.com, running a variety of point totals, etc.) I can't imagine there will be any questions that Mr. Thorough can come up with that I can't answer. :-)

I thought I had read somewhere that the current incentives they are offering with AKV ended Sept. 20. But then I read somewhere that they ended on Sept. 10. Can anyone clarify? I couldn't find the answer anywhere in writing and didn't want to call them just to ask that question.

Thanks, guys. (And girls, too!) :-)

They are supposed to be ending on the 20th or the 22nd (DVCNews.com just talked about it today).

My sales person said it ended on the 20th but that was before she left for vacation last week. She wants to call me on the 19th to wrap everything up but due to car breaking down, I have to wait with $500 down until next month and now will lose all the great incentives! :sad1:

Sorry I didn't make that clear! It did sound confusing but yes my car needed a head gasket and more issues so had to junk it. Now I have to use the $500 towards getting another car so I'm sad I have to pass up on this great offer. My sales rep won't be too happy when she calls me next week!

heaven2dc- Ya know $500 Downpayment on a vehicle only changes your payment approx $10- a month depending on rate & term- Maybe you can forgo a downpayment and take just a bit higher payment monthly so you will have the money... Just a suggestion- Banks don't always require a downpayment- I would think you could ask the car sales place to quote you w/o downpayment and with so you can choose-
