Experts...Standard Garden and LV GF rooms???

Tell me what to expect in the standard garden and lagoon view rooms.
Someone told me that they have bathrobes? Is this true? What are the rooms like? Do they have balconies? Room service? What are some special touches that the GF offers that the others don't. This will be my birthday and our wedding/honeymoon, so I want something special. We are also on a budget, so no, we can't afford the concierge levels. I apprecaite any info you can send. We are goign in Sept. if that helps.

we just returned from the GF. booked a garden/marina view and, because we were celebrating both our anniversary and my birthday, were upgraded to a lagoon/castle view. do not be shy to ask for a complementary upgrade when checking in!! yes, they have 2 bathrobes in each room. if you have children you can request a child-sized robe. feel free to read my trip report on the trip reports board. it is a summary of our resort/dining experience. i had no cons at all about the resort. we were in Boca Chica (8427) and it was very spacious. private balcony with table and chairs, daybed, double sink bathroom, walk in closet with safe, turn down service with chocolates.... the list goes on.

Just don't be disappointed if you ask and you don't get an upgrade. Many people are.
