Since I plan on staying at the Ho-Jo, this seems like a convenient choice for how to get there from the airport. Anyone wait for a bus and not be able to get on? Does it stop at each and every one of those hotels or does it go directly to the transportation center?

Ive taken it both from LAX (twice) and Orange- Ive decided it all boils down to this if you have only 1-2 people-Airport Bus is the best- If ya have more its not the cheapest (ie a Taxi from Orange is flat rate 30 for up to 5 people)-

You get cheap but if time if valuable then Id not recommend it- At LAX my flight landed at 1:40 so I was out by 1:45 (no checked luggage) and the 2:00 bus never came (according to their hub it was coming...) and the 3:00 bus came at 3:20- aka LONG wait- then we hit all the terminals till we were full (which thankfully was only 1 lap- Ive heard it can be 2/3 sometimes) then off to Anaheim- My 2nd Airport Bus trip via LAX was better but still not on time...

My Orange flight landed at oh 2:30 and the bus came promply and left at 3- Very nice-

With pickups at the airport you go to the hub (next to Hojo) then a person comes on and collects your $$$ then the driver drops off everyone at the hotel (with HOJO you can walk or they will drop ya off.. Personally I just walked across the street)- With the drop off I was always either first or 2nd as I stayed at the Super 8 on Katella- (Stayed at Super 8 twice (LAX flights) and HOJO once(Orange flight)

Then on return trips you can either get picked up at the hotel (a bus does a run to every hotel) or I just walked back to the hub (as I got frustrated the first time waiting for the bus to come to the hotel) and caught the bus from there- Return trips were fairly on time (within 15/20 minutes late) but then fairly efficiant to the airports-

All in All- Its acceptable transportation- Its worth the money (being like 25 or less per round trip) but you run on their schedule not vise versa of other transportation options-

I'd recommend Super Shuttle. I've done both the shuttle and the bus, and hated the bus. And this is from a person who does motorcoach trips at least 5 times a year.

The bus was slow, impersonal and unfriendly. It took quite a few stops before they reached our hotel.

Supershuttle will cost in around the same price range, but will have fewer stops before getting to your hotel. If you luck out you might even get the shuttle to yourselves.
