Experiences keeping breastmilk cool in the parks please

I breastfeed, but I am hoping to bring some bags of milk into the parks as well, in case I am "scheduled" to go on a ride and my DH will be able to give a bottle while I'm in line.

Do you just bring a cooler in with an ice block to keep it cool? I have a stroller attachment cooler.
And is there something in the babycare centers that will allow us to heat up the milk, because my son does not like cold bottles....?

The coolers would be fine, and I guess there may be some way to bring a warmer in and find a plug (no idea), but it seems to make the most sense that baby just will have to wait until mom is done with her ride! He won't starve

Yeah, in this particular instance, I'd say go with what you have on tap.

You really should pump whenever your baby takes a bottle to be sure to keep up your supply/prevent engorgement.

The baby care center has a microwave, so you could heat water and then put the bottle in the warm water to warm it. It seems like much more trouble than just nursing, though.

WhenI went last October, I put my babies milk into the bottles that I would need for the day and packed them in a small soft cooler. I put 2 gel ice packs on top (that I would freeze overnight) and then in the morning before we left, I would top the cooler off with ice form the hotel ice machines. It kept her bottles nice and cold all day.

to warm up a bottle you can ask anywhere that serves hot coffee or tea for a cup of hot water. that is how the small park that I work at does it as we can not heat up outside food including bottles

For the most part, I will definitely go with "what's on tap"...but it's always good to have a backup plan.
