? Experienced Studio users. (towels)?

I keep a beach towel and dish towels in my owner's locker :) As well as laundry soap and coffee :)

We stay in studios often. There is usually 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 washcloths. There is usually always a towel Mickey on the bed made of 2 hand towels and 1 bath towel that you can use. We find that it's adequate.

We hang up damp towels and they seem to dry well enough also.

Agree. We've never run out of towels and when our FL DD joins us she's always had a clean towel. There's never been a reason to 'borrow' from the pool or ask for more. With just 2 of you for 3 nights - you should be fine.

Staying at BWV for the first time and reading these post I have a couple of questions.

1. How much is an extra pack of towels and how many towels come in a pack?
2. How much does the washer and dryer cost? (so I can get my change together)

If u are staying at a place with a cash area like VGF just get them from the mouse keepers on the hotel side. They give them to u no questions asked. They don't know u aren't a cash customer. Usually u can just grab them off the cart. We do it at VGC all the time

I realize our dues pay for everything but I am curious as to how this is calculated for a resort like AKV. Do they take a percentage? I just hope I am not paying for hotel guests that are greedy with pool towels at Jambo. I've seen people take two or three per person at a time. I am not really concerned as I am sure it is a matter of pennies but I do wonder how it is all figured out when a resort is both hotel and DVC.

All those extras you grab off the cart are charged to DVC member fees. It's just that the developer should also be paying member fees for unsold units. There are no non-DVC units at VGF. They are all DVC units.

The costs to members is based on the percentage of villas versus the percentage of rooms. So the number of guests in each area would be totalled and DVC pays for their percentage. If hotel guests take lots and lots, DVC members will probably wind up paying for some of them.

We don't get the extra towel package as the four bath towels are sufficient for us until Trash and Towel day. However, I do bring extra wash cloths as we sometimes use more than one a day when it is hot outside. And yes, if we wash a load of whites we will add our towels and wash cloths. The laundry room is free for DVC members, just use your MagicBand to enter the room. You have to furnish your own detergent as none is provided for studio guests.

op, there is a pull-out clothesline in the studio showers, as well as a towel shelf/bar (towels do dry better on the towel bar).

we are usually 2 people in a studio, each taking at least 1 (or 2) showers daily...and haven't had any towel issues :)
