i have to purchase new bands for DH but I ahvent true the Sea-Band brand before. Am also considering for a DD (only because lately in water parks' wave pools she's said she feels the waves for 1-3 days afterwards. She doesn't seem really bothered by it though.

Also, when I looked them up on Amazon sometimes they could be a random color. What colors have they sent you?

TIA!

my DD4 uses them all the time (she gets motion sickness just riding in a vehicle anywhere (which is a nightmare in itself). We just bought them at Walgreens but if there are colored ones I'm so going to check them out. The ones we've always gotten are grey

I use them on a cruise and they work great. I've only ever managed to find grey or black so not sure what other colours they do.

We use the Walgreen's brand ones for our DD. They are simply gray. We were concerned they wouldn't work well because she has such tiny wrists (she's 20 and is quite the little bird). They worked great. She even uses them flying and on longer than 20 minute car trips.

My son used them. We bought them on board as our Eastern trip wasn't a smooth one. I think the color was a beige/grey. He liked them/they worked. Better than the meds which made him sleepy.

We used them on our last cruise and will be using them again. I don't know if it's mind over matter but when we took them off, after a while, we would be searching for them to put back on.

I ordered them from Amazon, the adult one was grey, the kids one was pink with camouflage pattern. It was for DS, but at least it had the camo, so he still wore it. :) But, yes, "colors may vary", so no guarantees.

You can pick the color from Amazon if you are willing to pay a little more extra. I recently placed an order and got the pink ones for my daughter and blue ones for my son. You will have to search for it.

We have only been on a Royal Caribbean cruise almost 11 years ago and I remember feeling a little nauseous the entire cruise. Since the Dream is newer and have those stabilizers, is there a lot of motion to the boat itself? :sail:

The Sea Bands are great! I use them myself at the start of the cruise (sometimes with non drowsy Dramamine) and then take them off unless I need them! Such as at some of the shows! With the theatre being so close to front of the ship sometimes you can really feel it! My last February trip on the Disney Dream waters were really tough coming back from warmer waters to cooler waters (during an evening show), so I slapped the bands back on! I purchased mine at CVS!

I've used the psi bands on multiple cruises and they work great. They come in a variety of colors. You can get them on amazon or babies r us

I find the psi plastic bands work better than the fabric seabands. They have dials that you can tighten when you start feeling more of the rocking. They r water proof and come in colors like orange pink green white blue etc ....

We don't usually get seasick. I make the whole family wear theirs the first day. I've used them when the seas were very rocky (I was walking down the hallway like a drunk sailor pirate:) and they helped.

My DMIL gets majorly seasick in anything that moves (cars, planes, etc) and they don't work for her. Nothing works for her except the meds. And she has to take them 30 min or so before she travels.

Also just to say, if feeling nausious ginger ale (available in main dining rooms free of charge) is great too

Yes they had them on the Magic last year in the adult clothing shop where they had medicine and sunscreen

I put my seabands on the night before embarkation. That way they have time to start working. I can usually take them off after we have passed over the Meridian (usually overnight the first night) unless the seas are particularly rough. Sometimes I have had to put them back on if the seas got rough again during the cruise. I prefer them to having medication in my system since I am on a few heart medications and don't want interactions.

They work. Will not sail without them. Also sometimes on long car trips while being a passenger i get nauseated. Well normally I take the pills
before getting in the car. A few months ago i dug out my sea bands from my cruise and wore them. Did not feel sick once.
