Has anyone used the Pal Mickey? My husband would like to get one, but I am wondering if they are worth the money. :scratchin

A Pal Mickey is an interactive doll that Disney sells. He tells jokes and will interact with emitters that are placed throughout the park so that he can give information about attractions, etc.

To see a fun site with tons of information on him - and to see him dressed up in various outfits go to: http://www.palmickey.net (this is a non-commerical site - just done for fun and entertainment)

Used one with my granddaughter age 6 & 7, brought it home and played the interactive games etc. Took it back to WDW this spring and used it with the 4 year old! It is now ensconced on the bed. Definitely got $$$$ worth.

We loved the Pal Mickey, the kids always wanted to hold him. I was a little hesitant at first but DH (who was in Iraq at the time) wanted the kids to have one. Unfortunately I broke him somehow on the way home. He was in my carryon and when we got home he didn't speak properly anymore. I guess since I broke it, I'm buying it, a new one that is. The kids really were disappointed :guilty: my bad!

We got ours through an outlet store about this time last year for around 28.00. It was worth it. My DD8 truly loved it. DS4 liked him too, but didn't want to carry him.

At 28 he was worth it. At 60? I don't know. Maybe not.
