experience with oxygen in parks?

I need to find this out for DFIL. I have searched here and on a couple of other boards and I don't know if I've seen a similar situation. I found one thread here on the dis that may have my answer but I'm not sure.
DFIL has COPD. He uses oxygen all the time. DMIL wants to take an extra tank to the park with them and put it in the locker so she doesn't have to go back to the car to get it. I don't know if she can do that or not.
She said the tank is called an M6 cylinder. It is 3 1/4" diameter and 11 3/4" tall.
In the thread I saw on here someone suggested that the first aid center will keep medical supplies for you and then you don't have to go all the way back to the locker. I'm not sure if that would just be for children or if anyone can do that.
If anyone has any experience with portable oxygen in the parks I'd love to hear how you handled it. I'm posting this here and a couple other boards too in hopes to find someone who has dealt with this.

you can hold extra oxygen in the first aid stations. Although, we didn't actually do it I did ask for someone else back in Dec. 2009.

Hi! I did not even think to store my tanks at first aid, I too used the m6s and the e's and we just took them in a rolling backpack for me to switch out when I needed to change them out. That is something I will look into. Since it will be hotter when we are there soon, I know I will need more than the 2 I took each day as gas evaporates faster in the heat. I used my shoulder carry bag and it did get tiresome and made my shoulder and backache, but it was a lot easier using the tanks than a POC since they could go on every ride I wanted to except RNRC. The CM took it from me when I was seated and it was waiting for me on the other side when we got off.I had no problem with any of the rides using them. HTH!

Thank you both! Yes I guess they can keep the extra tanks at First Aid.
I got two replies on another board that said they can too. What a relief!
CM8 thank you also about the ride info. That helps because we were told he should be OK on any rides that he was planning to ride but it's nice to hear it from some one who has BTDT. He doesn't do any thrill rides anymore so if you were OK on everything but RNRC then he should be AOK on anything he is going to ride.
