Went to my mail box today and a envelope size shrink wrapped package from Disney.....

"Personalized trip planning information for the Dunlap Family"

Welcomes me back for my trip in December

It is a color brochure that is 4 printed color pages and a Color insert check list.....

I think if Disney is sending these out to all resort customers there money could be better spent in other areas....they really don't give much general info...except the perks of staying on site:rolleyes:
....Chance to see your favorite selected Disney Characters at your hotel
...Complimentary transportation
...Cast members are ready and waiting to assist you

Personally I'd like to see money spent on extended park hours or early entry returning...

I also received one of those yesterday telling me all of the great things about the CBR which is where our reservation WAS. Our trip is in November and it will be closed. My husband and I were rolling. It was a nice little folder, the timing and content were just a little off.

We got one of those for our trip last December, and we just got another one for our upcoming trip. They are a nice personal touch, but they don't really have any information in them that is new or useful.

I received on e also and thought it a waste of money. Expect for you name on front, it wasn't very personalized. I laughed because it says ' you asked about our dinner shows' which I didn't . And we're staying at two hotels, but only got one for All Stars.

I think it would be exciting to receive this if it were your first trip to WDW, but it really doesn't do much for us either.

I agree with Kaitysmom. Maybe they should figure out a way to send them out only if you are a first-timer or staying at a new resort.

As far as them being personalized, when we went in March with children it did have more info. about child-related things and when we went back in May (adults only) it was more adult oriented. Still, compared to the info. from the internet, it did not offer much.

Just got my new one for the Wilderness Cabins. The whole family is going this time so it is just generic information.

Well, I got one too for my trip in December. It was exciting getting a letter from the mouse. I took my plane tickets out of their swa folder and put it in the mickey one.

Those may be random. We got one for our January trip, but didn't get one for our May trip, nor for the one coming up next week.

We also got one & I agree, it didn't feel like very much thought or effort went into it. It doesn't feel personalized. We threw ours out. A waste of $.

I think I have 4 or 5 of them. We got one yesterday for our October trip, I've been getting them since last year. :)
